Summer Scarves

As summer gets nearer, i've started to think about the trends and the outfits i'll wear!! I'm really looking forward to it!! One of my favorite accessories are scarves...I wear them with all my outfits and I have an overflowing drawer of them. One of the things you need for those cool summer evenings is a nice summer scarf. They're a great accessory for any outfit and some are big enough to double up as a shawl. I normally wear a printed t-shirt with a plain scarf or else a plain t-shirt with a printed scarf....I don't put two prints together as I think it sometimes looks too busy, but that also depends on the outfit. Kate Middleton Wows Again!!

Her Jenny Packham gown

Kate Middleton was seen entering the Royal Albert Hall this evening for a concert for the Olympic Games, for which she is an ambassador, along with her husband, Prince William. And she didn't disappoint. (Can she ever?!) She wowed in an aqua Jenny Packham full-length gown. She also changed things up a bit, wearing an up-do instead of having her long locks flowing around her shoulders. It really enhanced her facial features and brightened up her whole face. But the nicest piece of the dress was the sheer-lace back. Having her hair up really showed off the back to it's full capacity and highlighted the colour even more. You showed us once again how it's done, Kate!! x

Cheryl Cole 'Call my name' video fashion fest!

Cheryl Cole's new single 'Call my name' only came out last week but her outfits in the video have made a impact!! I'm not surprised,though. They were gorgeous! You needed your sunnies for the brights she was working. From her illuminous yellow bra top to her floral-print blazer,she had all the trends ticked off. Her colour block heels were to die for,along with the leopard hot-pants she sported. I love the new single but her outfits are what caught my eye!! I've included them below so you guys can see what all the fuss is about! :) x

One of my favourite designers right now is Victoria Beckham. I absolutely love the clothes she designs. Her clean lines and simple fabrics make a really nice garment in the end. She has targeted the animal trend with her 'cat' dress, which already has high street replicas. She is also beginning to build a celebrity fan-base of her clothes. Cameron Diaz wore one of her dresses to an Oscar after-party, Cheryl Cole wore one of her dresses to an awards ceremony and Jennifer Lawrence, star of 'The Hunger Games' even sported one while promoting the first movie. My favorite detail that many of her dresses have is the exposed zipper. I LOVE that. VB was originally doing that and now it has caught on everywhere. Everyday you see more and more celebrities wearing her range. She's really hitting the big time. Keep up the good work, Victoria! x (Seen above are the celebs I mentioned wearing VB)

Highlighter Brights

Highlighter shades are going to be huge this summer-one of the biggest trends. We already see them popping up and I think we'll be seeing a lot more of  them as the summer progresses. They're perfect for summer,really as they're bright and are easy to wear. The main colours are blue,pink,yellow and green. I think lime green will be especially big, since it's very bright and airy. Yellow might not be as big in a highlighter shade as a sunny-yellow trend will also be appearing. But blue and pink should be big as well, as they're the colour of summer-especially ice-cream!! As spring's pastel colours die down, although I doubt they'll fully go away, we'll definitely be seeing more of these highlighter-brights in the coming months!! Sunnies at the ready.....x

K-Middy's Angelina Moment!!

Kate Middleton went daring last night when she arrived at a black tie dinner at Claridge's Hotel. And wow-EE!! She stunned in a Rouland Mouret gown with a thigh-high split. This is really going outside the box for Kate, since she usually wears conservative dresses. But it was definitely a winner!! She paired the dress with Jimmy Choo snakeskin heels which finished off the look perfectly. As she stepped up onto the red carpet alongside her Prince, she flashed one of her perfectly-toned pins. The internet has gone crazy with images popping up everywhere of her daring choice. We like it,Kate!! x Don't forget to comment to let me know what you think of her daring move! Wrap Dresses

Wrap Dresses are just one of those things that never go out of style!! They're always there and always have been and I think it's safe to say they always will be!! They're easy to wear and don't need a lot of  accessories since there is usually a lot of detail in them already. One of the most famous wrap dress of all is the one Kate Middleton wore at the announcement of her engagement to Prince William in October of 2010. This navy blue Reiss wrap flew off the shelves within hours of her appearance. This elegant dress, made in a comfortable jersey fabric shows us how timeless a nice wrap dress can be. Elements of the dress get updated along the way,obviously, like putting a trendy print on it instead of a solid colour. But the rest of the elements-mainly the shape, have stayed the same. It is because it stays the same that keeps it timeless yet up-to-date, by putting the trends on it. Because some of the neckline's are v-necks, there isn't a lot of  jewellery needed, especially if there is a bold print on it. This makes it much easier to just pop on. Communion Outfits

The communion was on in the local church this morning. One of the things I look forward to most is seeing the outfits that people come out with, especially the mothers. Now, some of them are a little old-fashioned and some are a little boring but some of them are alright! One of the ones that caught my eyes was a woman wearing a very different outfit. She was right on trend with bold-print crop trousers, kitten heels, camisole, a loose-fitting blazer and a clutch. The colours in the trousers were light blue, navy, cream, white and orange. They were in a smudged-flower pattern and went as far as just above the ankle, as all crop trousers do. She wore navy kitten heels that came to a point, and the blazer was a light-blue shade. She had an orange clutch which finished it off very nicely. I really liked the way that she brought every colour from the trousers into the other parts of the outfit....it really pulled it all together. It really caught my eye because all the other mothers were wearing dresses-all very nice-but also very common. They were all beautiful but I think this woman really stood out from the crowd with this alternative outfit. Everything about the whole outfit was perfect. I've been a bit skeptical of print-trousers because sometimes they can look very wrong depending on what you put them with but this woman has completely changed my opinion of them because I now realize how nice they can look when put with the right accessories. x Leave a comment telling me what your favorite communion outfit is. :)
