Get the Look: Beulah London

I've noticed that Beulah London is a popular label with celebs of late - The Middleton sisters, for one. So I went onto their website, here's how to get their look:

Pippa was spotted out and about in London in a bright blue coat with this scarf wrapped around her neck...it wasn't the first time she's been spotted wearing it. The scarf is now back in stock on the website and retails at 120.00pounds. I would wear it with skinny jeans, a simple tee and a blazer.

Pippa's sister Kate is also a big fan of the label. She was spotted wearing the 'Blossom' dress at a wedding last year. I absolutely love the shape of this dress and it looks absolutely stunning on Kate. She also wore the 'Sabitri Powder Blue' dress on her overseas tour last September. The 'Blossom' dress is available on the site now, for 490.00pounds.

A stateside fan of the label is Sophia Bush. She wore the 'Painted Lady' full length gown to a charity ball last year - I featured this as a 'Look of the Week' post on my blog at the time (check it out!) . I love this dress - the print and the shape and the combination of colours...it's all so fab! It's on the website now for 578.00pounds.

Do you smell something?

One of my favourite things to do is get perfume samples - the little pieces of card in cute shapes...who doesn't love those?!! I love the cards, but I don't always love the smell. To be honest, most of the time I hate the smell of perfume. I mean, the majority of them stink!! But that's not to say that there are a few gems among the stones. And these are them:

First up, Armani Gold. I don't own a bottle, sadly, but I am saving up for one (this will be up on wish list soon!). It smells absolutely amazing! Any time I got into a department store, I drench myself in the stuff, just so I can bring a little bit with me! The bottle is also a plus. I'm obsessed with perfume bottles and the different shapes and ways they come. And this bottle is one of the coolest I've ever seen, not to mention the packaging! I just absolutely love this perfume, definitely next on my list....

Secondly, Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I am lucky enough to own a HUGE bottle of this stuff (along with a travel stick, body lotion and shower gel). I was given it as a Christmas present last year. I fell in love with the smell instantly and I still absolutely love it. This bottle is also a real winner. All Marc Jacobs' perfume bottles really out-do themselves, would you agree?!

And finally, 'Kate' by Kate Moss. I received this as a birthday present. In all honestly, I wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but once I smelt it, I was in love. It has a different smell from the other 2...not quite as sweet as Daisy and not as soft as Armani Gold. My bottle's almost empty *sadface*, so I'll be needing a replacement soon enough! I also got body lotion with it, and that smells amazing too...this is one not to be missed!

So, there are my favourite perfumes...comment below and let me know yours! :) x

Classic

Jennifer Lawrence takes us back in time on the set of her new movie (yet unnamed). She was snapped while filming in Boston the other day, and I just fell in love with her look! The dress, to begin with, is simple yet so elegant and it also looks really comfy! Then the big, full-length fur coat added to the elegance of the outfit. I like her simple, strappy barely-there gold heel. Not OTT, careful not to steal any of the limelight from the rest of the outfit. I love her earrings, just the right accessory for this outfit.

What really caught my attention, though, was her hair! How gorgeous is this up-do?!! I love the curls. I think she looks absolutely fabulous! If this is a just a taster of what's in store, I can't wait to see this movie! :) x

Dddouble D!

I'm talking about Double Denim - just to clarify (as you can see I'm a bit far off DD!!)

Ok, now we've sorted that out, here's my outfit today! I have been looking high and low for a denim shirt and I found it very hard to find one that looked good on me. I thought it would be easier to find one but alas, it wasn't. Then I came across this one in Penneys the other day and I am beyond delighted with it! I actually saw it on Suzanne from SoSueMe a few weeks back and fell in love with it. I was delighted when I found it in my local Penneys.

Ok, enough gushing.....I paired it with my jeggings, working the denim-on-denim trend. Today I rolled up the bottoms for a more summery look (it was a gorgeous day!). I wore a grey camisole underneath and grey runners (although they're so worn out I don't know if they even qualify as runners anymore!!). But they did the trick for this outfit anyway! I was delighted with how this outfit worked, I was a little worried that denim-on-denim wouldn't look good on me, even thought I really like the trend. But it did, and it'll definitely be making an appearance again! It's so versatile, you can add any accessories and it'll still look fabulous. Let me know what you think! :) x

I'd also just like to wish my little sister, Sadie, a very happy 13th birthday! She's also an up-and-coming in terms of fashion ;)

Fergie!

Surfing the net, looking for something to write about, I came across this outfit and couldn't pass it up! Fergie looks absolutely amazing in this maternity dress! She is pregnant with her first child with husband Josh Duhamel (well jel!) and she looks absolutely fabulous!! I love this dress. The print is so fresh, colourful and playful. If this is a taste of what's to come, then I definitely can't wait! x

Kate Middleton: Maternity Style....(So Far!!)

Kate Middleton has all eyes on her now more than ever, as she goes through her first pregnancy. She hasn't let us down, though! Every engagement she's had since announcing her pregnancy, she has awed me. Known for her style and class, she has managed to maintain that with stylish, flattering maternity wear. Here's some of these outfits:

My favourite. This simple cape, jeans and boots combo is comfortable and stylish. I'm a big fan of brown myself and I have worn an outfit very similar to this several times. She looks comfortable and chic, what more could you ask for!

This simple wrap dress was also a winner. Grey is one of my favourite colours (a little boring, yes!) so this outfit got a thumbs up from me. Very 'Kate' - she's a big fan of wrap dresses!

A more recent outfit, this turquoise coat dress with black detail looked gorgeous on her and I absolutely loved her hat. Very elegant, yet it was nice to see some colour.

Worn at the unveiling of her portrait, this was one of her first official engagements since announcing her pregnancy. I like  the shape and colour of the dress, however, I think she could have gone a little shorter on the hem. She's young, and I think it was a big ageing on her. But, in fairness, after recovering from a bout in hospital, she looked amazing!

This double-breasted coat dress that she wore to a day at the races really suited her. I was so happy that she went with a shorter hemline - much shorter than she usually does. The colour was a change from her typical browns or nudes. I've seen this hat many a time before, but it looked especially fabulous on her with this dress! And the pockets are just adorable :)

And, finally for today is this more casual look she wore whilst on the slopes a few months ago. Laid back but elegant, you can almost see the hint of a bump. I also really like her hair here!

So that's all for today, folks! Let me know what you think so far and which outfit is your favourite. Be sure to check back in for more updates on K-Middy! :) x

Someone I Look Up To

So today, I thought I'd write a piece about someone who I really look up to at the moment. Her name is Suzanne Jackson. She is owner and editor of fashion and showbiz blog 'SoSueMe.ie'. Her blog is really successful - she reached over 50,000 likes on Facebook just last month. It is one of the best places for fashion new and updates and it's my number one go-to website for all things fashion. She has inspired me to branch my blog out a bit, from just reviewing celebrities outfits. As you may have realized, I have begun to post more of my own outfits, giving you more of a glimpse into my personal style life. Sue's blog is something I can only hope to have in the future. Where she is now is where I would love to be when I am older. I have an increasing amount of awe and respect for her, and I just wanted to show you all someone who definitely deserves attention!! Don't think this is the last you'll hear of her from me! x
