Rose of Tralee 2012

Congratulations to Nicola McEvoy who was crowned the 2012 International Rose of Tralee. Nicola represented Luxemborg, and I think she did a great job! The style of the roses on the interview nights left something to be desired, however, Nicola was one of the nicer ones. Seen here in the dress she wore for her interview, the red lace was elegant and the shape was gorgeous. She looked comfortable and the dress suited her down to the ground! X-Factor Style: Round 3!

Round 3, ding, ding! It's only just begun again, but already this year's X Factor is shaping up to be one heck of a fash-fest! Here, both women wowed-yet again! I love Nicole's. I love the Grecian look of the dress and the colour is just gorgeous. The gold band around her waist gives it the perfect amount of detail. I also love the subtle pleats and it really compliments her skin tone. I really like Tulisa's rainbow-striped dress. She is right on trend with the pastel colours. The only downfall of this dress is that it sticks out at a very strange angle in the back! However, the shape is gorgeous and I love the points at the top, and this overrules the back! Not a great picture, however, two gorgeous dresses! I absolutely love Tulisa's...I've seen it somewhere before, but I can't think on who! Nicole's is also gorgeous, I love the colour. However, I think this round has to go to Tulisa! Let me know what you think. X

Look of the Week

This weeks 'Look of the Week' goes to J-Lo's figure-hugging, electric blue dress! She wore it on a recent night out in LA and I think it is just fab!! I love the silver detail on the bust and up the back...very fashion-forward. I also really, really like the colour...not too summery, as we're coming into September but also keeping it fresh. Her sky-high shoes are gorgeous and I love how she kept her accessories neutral. Her hair is just perfect-the messy look was the right choice as it manages to keep all the focus on the dress. This look is a winner! x

X-Factor Style-Round 1!

The new series of The X Factor was launched the other day and the women judges-Tulisa and Nicole-pulled out all the stops. And yes, Louis and Dermot were looking alright in their suits, but it's the women that wowed. Tulisa looked fabulous almost every time last year, and Nicole wowed when she filled in for Cheryl Cole two years ago. And the launch for this year's series was no exception. I absolutely love Tulisa's bondage dress...bondage is huge and the colours in this dress are just gorgeous..I love the yellow with the grey and the silver heels she paired with it go perfectly. Nicole's dress is simple yet elegant and it has just enough detail to give that WOW factor. I love the knot at the middle and the v-neck. It's simple but gorgeous. So, Round 1 of the style stakes was a success...I will do my best to update you on everything they wear this season, and we'll see who pulls out all the stops! x

Closing Ceremony Style!

The Olympics just finished but not without Kate Middleton going out with a bang. She wowed in this Whistle's number, which she previously wore to the Diamond Jubilee Concert-although we never got a proper look at it as she was sitting the whole time. But after seeing it tonight, I just love it! I wasn't sure when I first saw it but then once I saw it up-close, I saw just how gorgeous it was! Such a lovely combination of colours and I just really, really like it. x
