Look of the day: Rosanna Davison

Rosanna is currently on holiday in Mauritius and she is posting plenty of sunny snaps! But this particular one caught my eye:
I absolutely love this outfit! I love the playsuit and the colour is absolutely fabulous. The contrast of colours between the blue and the orange shoes is genius! What a fab pair of shoes, too! She kept accessories to a minimum, except for a statement necklace which was a smart move as the rest of the outfit speaks for itself. If anyone is looking for holiday outfit inspo, this is it!! X

Final weekend of the year!

The final weekend of the year was a good one for me! Hope it was the same for you guys...

Saturday night I went to my football club's social dinner and had a ball. It was a casual-dress event so here's what I wore:
Sorry for the crappy picture, it was taken at 2am when I got home! (And excuse my messy bedroom - it's on my to-do list!!)
Blazer: Penneys
Shirt: Penneys
Jeans: Pac Sun
Necklace: Penneys
Bracelets: Alex and Ani

Sunday, I had a family party and being tired from the night before, I kept it as simple as possible!!
Sorry for the shitty picture quality!
Jumpsuit: Penneys
Snood: Penneys
Cardigan: Dunnes
Shoes: Toms
Bracelets: Alex and Ani

My Alex and Ani bracelets featured in both outfits, as you can see....there's more to come on those!

Hope you all had a good weekend!

Who wore it better??

Morning guys!
While I was scouring the web for my end of year piece, I knocked across a picture of Cheryl Cole at Cannes film festival earlier this year. Her dress looked wicked familiar and that's when I realised that Sharon Osbourne had just worn it on the X Factor final a few weeks ago! It's a gorgeous sparkly Zuhair Murad number and to be fair it looks great on both girls!....So now, I want your opinions! Let me know who you think rocked it better!

Cheryl Cole, above, at Cannes or Sharon, below, at Wembley??

Yeezus!!

Well, what do you think of this?! Kayne purchased this Hermes bag for Kim for Christmas and them had it painted! Kudos for originality, Kayne, however the painting isn't in the slightest way tasteful! I personally can't understand why someone would paint a Hermes bag! Why ruin something already perfect? But I guess when your fiancé has everything it's time to get creative!

Let me know what you think guys! Fallon x

Cutest Family?

THis may not be entirely related to fashion but I just had to post this! Melissa Joan Hart has always been one of my favourite people....I grew up watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch and have loved her ever since! I was looking through her Instagram photos earlier and I saw how cute her family is....her and husband Mark Wilkerson have been married for 10 years, which is a lifetime in showbiz! They have 3 kids - Braydon, Mason and Tucker who are all gorgeous. Check out the pics!!

Proving how cute they are in this candycane-esque photo...striped pajamas?! How adorable!!

At the premiere of the new Disney movie 'Frozen' in matching blue tones.....showing they are as fashionable as they are adorable. Also a shout out to Melissa for that gorgeous bondage dress, perfect shades for the movie also!

Let me know if you agree that this is the cutest family ever!! Fallon x

The gem that is Polyvore....

I just created my own Polyvore account last week, and I am beside myself! It's such a great concept! Here's the breakdown for those of you who aren't familiar with it....It's basically like a social network, where you receive a blank canvas and what you do with it is entirely up to you! It can be anything you want.

I personally favour creating outfits, but you can put together interiors or just pieces of art you like. The combinations are endless! If you haven't already, definitely check it out! As you see in the post below, that's basically what it is! Get prepared for more! ;)

Fall <3

I've crawled out of my cave!

Apologies for not posting in about 3 months! after I posted on the 25th of August, I went back to school 2 days later and instantly got swamped in work! I've been studying a lot and just haven't seemed to have the time to blog...but I'm hoping to get back into it, so just stick with me!

Thanks guys, Fallon x

One skirt: Multiple ways

One of my closet staples this summer was this maxi skirt from boohoo.com. It's a dark grey colour, jersey material. There are so many ways you can wear this skirt - here's just 2 samples of how I styled it.

Above: This is what I'm wearing at the moment. I got this dark green cami in Penneys/Primark yesterda - I am absolutely loving this colour and I think it's gonna be the colour of winter this year! I just put the outfit with this simple gold snake necklace - I will be posting in more detail about that later....I wore brown TOMS with it to finish off the look. Then just a simple short white overlay before stepping outside! I really like how this outfit came together.

I wore this outfit while I was in America...we went to an outdoor restaurant for my uncle's birthday and this is what I came up with. The crop top is from a store called Wet Seal in the US. The necklaces are both gifts from my cousins - I decided to layer them and I think it gave the outfit a really cool look. I wore simple sandals that completed the outfit perfectly. This one will definitely be back again! ;) x

Stay tuned for more! x

Rachel McSHINES

Rachel McAdams looks ah-may-zing in this Roksanda Ilincic gown. She's one of my all time favourite actresses and now she's one of my favourite style-watches! This dress is utterly amazing! Grey is my favourite colour (boring, I know!), so I love this pale shade. Almost white, but with a hint of grey. The waistband is absolutely gorgeous and it just makes the dress. I really like how there's no other detail on the dress except for the one whopper in the middle. Rachel's dark strawberry-blonde hair offsets the dress perfectly. This outfit is without a doubt a winner! x

Trendwatch: Blanc et Noir

Laura Carmichael

Lily Collins

Heidi Klum

Alexa Chung

Diane Kruger

Sharon Stone
As expertly displayed by celebrities this week, black and white is the colour scheme to wear! The timeless monochrome combination never fails and no matter what 2 pieces you put together, it always looks great. Apologies for not writing sooner, I thought I was doing better, but I guess not! Take inspiration from these leading ladies for your wardrobe, and I'll post a high street how-to later on :) Au revoir! x

Pretty in Pink...

Greetings from America! Staying at my Grandmother's, where the internet service used to be brutal, but they have had it revamped so I'm back in action! Sorry for not posting sooner - I've been having a crazily hectic month! Anyway, how beautiful does Caroline Flack look?! What a cute, elegant dress...to be honest, I'm sick of seeing her in those high-waisted shorts and tops, a look she's favoured for the past 2 years. But lately, she's had some really cute dresses on show, and this one certainly fits the bill. I love the delicate sleeves, and paired with the silver heels, the looks is cute and elegant. Let me know what you think! x

Pregnancy Suits You, Kate!

Kate Middleton just arrived at the Queen's Summer Garden Party in Buckingham Palace looking fabulous as ever! As the title says, pregnancy really suits Kate! I absolutely love her yellow coat! It's so summery and the gorgeous colour really suits her. I like the shorter hemline - nice to see her stepping outside the box! This is one of the nicest things I've seen on her in her pregnancy so far...and that's saying alot, because I've loved everything she's stepped out in!

Well, I'm off to America in the morning for 2 months! I will do my best to update when I'm over there, but I'm not sure if it'll be easy....Either way I'll do a feature on my summer outfits when I get home. Don't miss me too much!! x

BAFTAs 2013!

The BAFTAs were on last night, and I was really looking forward to seeing what the fash-pack had in store, but, to be honest, I wasn't impressed at all...there was very little WOW frocks on display, and I was hard pressed to find something to write about. But, thankfully, there were a few ladies who didn't let me down! Laura Whitmore looked stunning in this black and gold frock. She looked really comfortable yet stylish (two of my favourite things!) Michelle Collins was in a stunning yellow dress! The back and the clutch really made the outfit. Loved the messy ponytail aswell! And finally, Ms.Mackintosh. I absolutely love her black dress....very sexy and stylish. She looks absolutely stunning. Well, that's about all I could find!! These 3 didn't let me down, though! Lemme know what you think. x

Happy (belated!) Birthday!!

Happy belated birthday to one of my favourite people on the planet, Victoria Beckham! She is my biggest fashion icon and my absolute idol. I absolutely love her. She celebrated her 39th birthday last week. Happy birthday, Vicky! x

Bon Voyage!!

Right, well I'm off to Italy for a few days (jetting into Milan - fashion capital of the world tomorrow! Eeeek!!) so don't worry if you don't hear from me!! I'll be back in action next week,  with full reports on Milan and all the other places - Lake Garda and Venice!! I'm super excited....happy blogging!! :) x

Trendwatch: Bright Blue!!

I haven't done a trend watch in a while, so I felt it was time to get back to it! What I found today was that 'Bright Blue' is becoming quite popular. Favoured by the Kardashian sisters and even the Royal Family, I absolutely love the colour...it's perfect for summer. If you don't want it quite as electric as Sophie Countess of Wessex, take a softer approach like Mille Mackintosh, mixing it with white. This is the perfect summer colour! Take a look below: :) x

Look of the Week: Victoria Beckham

Wow I haven't done one of these in a while! Victoria Beckham was spotted bringing her kids out for breakfast in LA earlier in the week, looking fabulous as always! Flare jeans are a favourite of mine, so naturally I loved hers. But it was her top that really caught my eye. I love the combination of colours. Bright Blue is fast becoming popular (more on that later in the week!) and so she's right on trend - will she ever NOT be?!! I also love the maroon colour and they both merge perfectly together. Her trademark big sunglasses and the look is finished! Fab! Not to mention how incredibly adorable Harper looks on her arm! :) x

Logies 2013!!

I'm a huge fan of the Australian show 'Home and Away', and so, I was dying to see what the stars would wear to the Logies Awards this year. Here they are!

Catherine Mack looked gorgeous in this nude dress with embellishment. I love the small pink hue in this dress, as I think nude can be a bit boring at times. I love how she's kept her hair simple. A very elegant look!
Demi Harmen look way older than her age of 20! Almost vintage like, I love her white dress with a suttle peplum. Her hair and red lipstick finish off this look perfectly. It's timeless and elegant. I love silk - I think it always looks so fab, and this outfit is no exception!
Does Emily Symons ever not look good?! This is definitely and award-ceremony-worthy ensemble. It's bling but not too bling! I love the thigh high slit....Not surprisingly, she has her hair in an up-do, which shows off the pretty neck of the dress. The only accessories she has are earrings...this dress speaks for itself!
To be honest, I didn't expect Georgie Parker to look this good! Working the monochrome trend. This dress is fashion-forward with it's abstract top and stripes. I also really like her hair up!
Lisa Gormley is who I really wanted to see. She looks absolutely fabulous...she, too, looks so nice with her hair tied up. She looks so comfortable in this dress - I hate when people wear a strapless dress that's hanging off of them! I was a little disappointed by the bottom, however....a little too 'frumpy' for my liking! All the same, Lisa looks gorgeous!
Rhiannon Fish, pictured here with her boyfriend Reece Mastin,  looked absolutely stunning in this sparkly black dress. I love the fact that it's tight around her hips, but has a bit of a train. Her hairstyle is also really cute. This dress is definitely a winner for me!

Samara Weaving always looks amazing, and tonight was no exception! I instantly fell in love with her amazing red gown the minute I saw it. It's nice to see long sleeves for once. I love the lace detail at the top, and the plain skirt so it's not too busy. The bottom of this dress is almost mermaid-style. It's just gorgeous!! I wasn't too crazy about her hair, but the up-do is necessary to show off the gorgeous top on the dress.
And last but not least, is Ada Nicodemou. I wasn't expecting to see her, as she's been out from the show on maternity leave for the past few months. But she came in flying colours! Lace proved to be a trend at this years Logies! Her dress is absolutely stunning! As I said earlier, I think nude can sometimes be a bit boring, but this has to be an exception! With her darker skin tone and hair, she looks really well in this colour. I love the delicate lace on the top and sleeves. She looks so comfortable and oozes effortless chic. Out of all the above looks, this was definitely my favourite!

So, there's my favourite stars looking absolutely gorgeous....let me know what you guys think!
I'd also just like to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Steve Peackocke who won the Logie for 'Most Popular Actor'...I absolutely adore him so I'm delighted! :D

Get the Look: Beulah London

I've noticed that Beulah London is a popular label with celebs of late - The Middleton sisters, for one. So I went onto their website, here's how to get their look:

Pippa was spotted out and about in London in a bright blue coat with this scarf wrapped around her neck...it wasn't the first time she's been spotted wearing it. The scarf is now back in stock on the website and retails at 120.00pounds. I would wear it with skinny jeans, a simple tee and a blazer.

Pippa's sister Kate is also a big fan of the label. She was spotted wearing the 'Blossom' dress at a wedding last year. I absolutely love the shape of this dress and it looks absolutely stunning on Kate. She also wore the 'Sabitri Powder Blue' dress on her overseas tour last September. The 'Blossom' dress is available on the site now, for 490.00pounds.

A stateside fan of the label is Sophia Bush. She wore the 'Painted Lady' full length gown to a charity ball last year - I featured this as a 'Look of the Week' post on my blog at the time (check it out!) . I love this dress - the print and the shape and the combination of colours...it's all so fab! It's on the website now for 578.00pounds.

Do you smell something?

One of my favourite things to do is get perfume samples - the little pieces of card in cute shapes...who doesn't love those?!! I love the cards, but I don't always love the smell. To be honest, most of the time I hate the smell of perfume. I mean, the majority of them stink!! But that's not to say that there are a few gems among the stones. And these are them:

First up, Armani Gold. I don't own a bottle, sadly, but I am saving up for one (this will be up on wish list soon!). It smells absolutely amazing! Any time I got into a department store, I drench myself in the stuff, just so I can bring a little bit with me! The bottle is also a plus. I'm obsessed with perfume bottles and the different shapes and ways they come. And this bottle is one of the coolest I've ever seen, not to mention the packaging! I just absolutely love this perfume, definitely next on my list....

eparfum.wordpress.com

Secondly, Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I am lucky enough to own a HUGE bottle of this stuff (along with a travel stick, body lotion and shower gel). I was given it as a Christmas present last year. I fell in love with the smell instantly and I still absolutely love it. This bottle is also a real winner. All Marc Jacobs' perfume bottles really out-do themselves, would you agree?!

www.glossmenagerie.com

And finally, 'Kate' by Kate Moss. I received this as a birthday present. In all honestly, I wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but once I smelt it, I was in love. It has a different smell from the other 2...not quite as sweet as Daisy and not as soft as Armani Gold. My bottle's almost empty *sadface*, so I'll be needing a replacement soon enough! I also got body lotion with it, and that smells amazing too...this is one not to be missed!
